Its a Brown Thing

"Why are you so jolly all the time?"... one of my co-workers asks. This question was first posted to me when I was first coming in as a neophyte at the hospital that I'm currently working at. A question that made me think what the heck am I actually really so jolly about...

Well for the lack of a better answer, all I could say was "...it's a brown thing." True enough, after having been where I'm at and having met all kinds of people that I have, I found out that "IT" might just be that - A Brown Thing. I haven't met a lot of Pinoys, on this side of the northern hemisphere, who are not jolly, or happy, or nice. I guess the way we handle things is so positively different from some folks. It's not about being racist either - I just say that "its a brown thing" because well... I'M BROWN!

Either way, that's how the BROWN THING started.

This site is a tribute to everything that is brown (with the exception of EBS) that pertains to Pinoys in my side of the world.
